Black Box Spatial's systems run on data.

While technologies like the MicroImages software and the Bright Core platform are powerful, they need good data to do their job. Black Box Spatial has data available off the shelf, by order or by creation - be that collected, analysed, derived or custom built. Commonly used data include Land Information New Zealand's cadastral data, topographic data and map series'. Statistical data such as census data sets are readily available too. Black Box Spatial exclusive data sets include ground control points, road networks with rules bases and industry location information.

Black Box Spatial also sources and supplies remotely sensed data such as multi spectral imaging (satellite, aerial or terrestrial), aerial photos, standard satellite imagery or specifically collected remote sensing data (such as geophysical information). Black Box Spatial also has derived data sets like digital elevation models, weather analysis etc available on request. Note also that Black Box Spatial's data is global in many cases, so no matter where in the world you are, Black Box Spatial can get you started with good data.
